How to care for my cushion covers? 

Our printed cushion covers are very easy to care for, just a cold water hand wash, line dry and warm iron.  Our stitched covers can be machine washed cold, as the stitching is very strong, line dry, and warm iron. Our cushion covers should not be tumble dried - they are happiest being line dried.

Can items be personalised? 

Yes, we can personalise our products. We use freehand machine embroidery, and our designs are not programmed in, so each one is a unique drawing with thread. Please send us an email hello@threadsthatbindus.co.za with your ideas and we will do our best to help you. 

How Often does stock get replenished?

 If a product that you want is out of stock, you can still order it through our online shop, and we will make it up to order. This generally takes 5 - 10 working days, we will let you know if it is going to take a bit longer.

How do I use my Gift Voucher? 

Your Gift Voucher is valid sitewide. Select your products, and just enter your gift card code at checkout.

  • I purchased a gift voucher but the person I gifted it to has not received it yet. What do I do? Sorry to hear that - please ask the person to email us hello@threadsthatbindus.co.za and we will sort it out asap.

Ordering and Payment 

What Payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and instant EFT through Payfast. We have also partnered with Pay Just Now, so that you can pay off your purchase in 3 easy installments.

Can I pay via Eft?

 Yes, if you select this option at checkout, we will send you an email with our bank details.

Can I edit my order? 

Email us hello@threadsthatbindus.co.za as soon as you realise you want to make a change, and before your order is dispatched, and we will make the changes for you.

Can I Cancel my order ? 

Yes you can, if your payment has been processed, we will process a refund for you. Please notify us before your order is dispatched.

Delivery, Returns and exchanges

How long will it take for my order to be dispatched? 

If your order is in stock, we will dispatch within 24 hours. If we need to make up your order, it will generally take 5 - 10 working days, and we will communicate the progress of your order. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

 If you are based in Cape Town, and your order is in stock, you will receive it within 48 hours. If you are based outside of Cape Town, you will receive your order within 5 working days depending on the courier. 

How do I track my order? 

On dispatch, you will receive an email with your tracking number, and a link to track your parcel.

What is the return/ refund period? 

Please let us know within 7 days if you would like to return an item. It will need to be returned unused and unwashed. Once we have received your item, and it has passed inspection we will process a refund. You will need to pay for your return shipping. 

What do I do if I receive a faulty or incorrect item?

 We have a meticulous quality control system here at threads that bind us, so in the unlikely event that you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us immediately, and we will arrange for collection of faulty/incorrect items. We will then send out the correct item.
